Abstract
As we all know, a strong, foundational approach to Business Intelligence will support a broad range of information capabilities in an organization. While we often start with some basic reports and dashboards, there will come a point when the Business Intelligence assets can be leveraged to deliver on more advanced capabilities such as analytics or predictive modeling. In this case, we need to be considerate of how an organization can be positioned to be successful and reach a broad audience. Richard Hines, TDWI Instructor, Partner at Ideaca
A trusted thought leader in Business Intelligence, Richard has been immersed in the discipline since 1995, when he delivered one of the very first Performance Dashboards for British Telecom in Europe. His depth of knowledge regarding technology and its strategic impact on decision making has made him a regular speaker at industry forums in Canada and the United States. He has held leadership positions in the United Kingdom, Australia, the United States and Canada. Richard has taught multiple TDWI courses, as one of only two Canadians certified to deliver their educational materials.
Rob Meyer, Informatica
Rob Meyer is the Senior Director of Product Marketing of the Data Integration Business Unit at Informatica. He is responsible for all go-to-market activities for Informatica's core data integration products including PowerCenter, PowerExchange, Metadata Manager and Data Services. Rob has worked for nearly twenty years in marketing, product management and engineering on business intelligence, integration, messaging and SOA technologies at startups and larger companies including Hyperion, Microsoft, Oracle and TIBCO.
