Hadoop is no silver bullet for the many needs of business intelligence, next step in data management and analysis. Session will introduce BI practitioners to Hadoop and its history. Examine the Hadoop components and architecture then explore the strengths, weaknesses, and integration with current BI architectures.
Current trends for mobile platforms and devices competing in today¹s market and learn the impact of selecting them. We will examine the required technology infrastructure and explore the growing roles of cloud computing, SAAS, and virtualization, as well as the paradigm shift to service-oriented architecture, semantic layer, and the new BI app store.
